Job summary

Mangapikopiko School is seeking a passionate educator for a Term 4 position to cover sick leave. The role combines targeted maths interventions with classroom release support, focusing on Year 3 mornings and releasing New Entrant/Year 1 teachers in the afternoons. A Certificated teacher is required, with suitability for beginning teachers.

The 4-day-work week aims to sustain and build on student progress, following our Mathematics Acceleration Programme implementation earlier this year.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator for a Term 4 position covering sick leave, combining targeted intervention with classroom release support.

Earlier this year, we successfully implemented the Ministry Mathematics Acceleration Programme, and we require an innovative teacher with strong pedagogical knowledge to sustain and build upon our students' progress.

This 4-day-a-week role focuses on delivering specialised math interventions with our Year 3s in the mornings, followed by classroom release for our New Entrant and Year 1 teachers in the afternoons.
