A healthcare organization in New Zealand is seeking a Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join their team in Whakatāne. This full-time role involves providing rehabilitation support to inpatient and outpatient clients, mentoring junior staff, and working in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. As our next Rehabilitation Physiotherapist, you will work across both inpatient and outpatient services supporting neurological, amputee, vestibular, orthopaedic, and general rehabilitation clients. You will also contribute to a well-established, collaborative team that includes Allied Health professionals, Allied Health Assistants, medical and nursing teams – all focused on empowering client recovery journeys.
This role will also have the chance to mentor a rotational physiotherapist, further strengthening your leadership and coaching skills. Supported by the wider Te Koru Rehabilitation Team, the Allied Health Acute Services Team Lead, and the Physiotherapy Professional Lead, this offers the perfect environment to grow both clinically and professionally.
The Te Koru Rehabilitation Department is home to a passionate multidisciplinary team including SLTs, podiatrist, occupational therapists, dietitians, pelvic health and hand therapists, community and outpatient physiotherapists, and inpatient acute services. This diverse mix ensures a rich, collegial environment where your mahi is always supported and valued.
