Job summary

Evolution Healthcare in New Zealand is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to support clients with daily routines and rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and wellbeing. You will work with the Residential Team Leader and multidisciplinary team to implement plans and monitor progress.

This role requires strong communication, good time management, and a flexible attitude to rosters across a 24/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English (written and verbal).
• Good time management and self-direction.
• Can-do mindset with a team-focused attitude.
• Clean, full NZ driver's licence.
• NZQA Health & Wellbeing qualification is desirable/ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Implement individual rehabilitation plans.
• Support clients with daily living and personal care.
• Encourage skill development and independence.
• Assist clients to participate in meaningful activities.
• Monitor and report progress.
• Contribute to the effective running of the residential facility.
• Work rostered and rotating shifts across a 24/7 schedule.

About the role
