Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Te Toka Tumai Auckland is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ward 31 in the Cardiology service. The role requires active Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidates with prior surgical, medical, or cardiac experience will be considered favourably, and you will join a supportive team focused on patient and whānau wellbeing at Auckland City Hospital.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
• Previous surgical, medical or cardiac experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Ward 31 within the Cardiology service.
• Support interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and arrhythmia management.
• Collaborate with the Acute Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Investigation Unit.

About the Role

Cardiology nursing at Te Toka Tumai Aucklandoffers a variety and challenge that is clinically stimulating and great fun. A supportive team that provides superior care to all their patients. We, atWard 31, are also a key stakeholderinprovision of care to Auckland City Hospital's Cardiovascular service, providing care to our local, tertiary and national population. Our key areas include:

• Interventional cardiology
• Electrophysiology and arrhythmia management

We offer an environment wherepatient centred careandteam workare prioritised and valued. We support this with a commitment to staff development of skills and knowledge, working closely with the Acute Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Investigation Unit.

We are looking for Registered Nurses with at least 2 years recent acute hospital experience in a tertiary hospital and who are passionate to deliver best care to our patients and Whānau
