Job summary

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Auckland Hospital, seeks experienced Registered Nurses to join the Hospital Operations Resource Nursing Team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be deployed across Auckland Hospital to support wards and clinical teams during periods of high demand and staff shortages.

Qualifications

Registration as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand, with at least two years of clinical experience.
Strong nursing assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Support hospital wards and clinical teams to respond to staffing requirements.
Be allocated to different departments across Auckland Hospital to support periods of increased patient demand and short staffing.
Broaden clinical knowledge across a variety of healthcare settings.
Develop competencies and succeed in a dynamic hospital environment.
