Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a registered nurse or anaesthetic technician with extensive orthopaedic perioperative experience to join the Adult and Emergency Operating Rooms orthopaedic team at Auckland City Hospital. This permanent 1.0 FTE role covers Monday to Sunday in a busy perioperative service.

Exciting Registered Nurse or Anaesthetic Technician Opportunity! Permanent - Full time (1.0 FTE) position. Are you an experienced perioperative registered nurse (RN) or anaesthetic technician (AT) with extensive orthopaedic perioperative experience of 3 or more years (Scrub/Circulate)?

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced scrub/circulate RN or AT to join the Adult and Emergency Operating Rooms (OR) orthopaedic team.

We would love to hear from you if you have extensive orthopaedic scrub/circulate experience, particularly in:

• conventional and robotic hip and knee joint surgery
• Shoulder arthroplasty, reconstruction
• Basic to complex spinal surgery
• Sarcoma surgery

Adult and Emergency (Surgical) OR department provides 24/7 acute and elective orthopaedic surgery, along with general surgery (including colorectal, breast and hepatobiliary), urology, vascular, neurosurgery (adults and paediatrics), transplantation (kidney, liver and pancreas - adults and paediatrics) and trauma.

This is a permanent role working 1.0 FTE, Monday to Sunday.
