Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Registered Nurse for Outpatients in the Tairawhiti region. This 0.5 FTE fixed-term role supports outpatient care, education and patient assessment in a collaborative, high-volume clinic.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience preferable, however we welcome New graduate applications.
• Strong level of computer literacy and a desire to widen your range of technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changes that occur throughout the day.
• Capable of working in a fast paced, high-volume clinical setting
• The desire for a commitment to continuous professional development
• A good team player, happy to jump in and support others when required
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
• Current Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Local community knowledge would be of benefit

Registered Nurse, Outpatients 0.5FTE (Fixed Term)

• Part-time 0.5 FTE (40 Hours per fortnight)
• Fixed Term - Parental Leave Cover

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Outpatients you will play a vital role in providing support, delivering care and education to patients across the Tairawhiti region. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to assess, manage and support people covering a variety of conditions. You will work closely with both local and visiting Specialists attending the Outpatient Department.

Our Outpatients service is a small but passionate team committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. You will be part of a supportive environment that encourages clinical growth, cultural awareness and innovation in care delivery.

About you

• Registered Nurse with 3 years experience preferable, however we welcome New graduate applications
