Health NZ Counties Manukau’s Manukau Super Clinic is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our orthopaedics outpatient team in Auckland. You will provide expert care across diverse orthopaedic conditions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supported by senior nursing staff.

This part-time 0.8FTE role offers weekday hours (0830–1830) and opportunities to expand your skills while delivering patient- and whaanau-centered care in a culturally diverse setting.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate and orthopaedic nursing experience.
• At least 2 years post-registration nursing experience in orthopaedics.
• Casting experience is desirable.

We continue to work with others to achieve equity in key health indicators for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities and will continue to develop and implement plans, based on local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of Counties Manukau region. Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park. We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealands national health service. HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.
• About the role: The Manukau Super Clinic is New Zealand's leading out-patient facility, treating in excess of 150,000 patients annually. The working environment is a friendly, people focussed place to work. We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to come on board and work with our multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity for you to provide expert care across a variety of challenging orthopaedic conditions. Teamwork is a prime focus in this outpatient unit with our senior nursing team sharing their knowledge and providing mentorship. You will also be able to further your education and learn new skills. Working within a culturally diverse environment, our RN's are able to communicate and support our patients and whaanau to ensure that continuously high standard of care is provided at all times. Work days include Monday to Friday between 0830 - 1830. • Essential:
  * New Zealand Registered Nurse or eligible to obtain registration
