Job summary

The Doctors St Heliers is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the St Heliers general practice team on a permanent, 32-hour-per-week basis. You will work with a committed team to deliver high-quality nursing care and contribute to community health outcomes.

Applicants should hold a current NZ practicing certificate and have experience in medical centres. Opportunities for professional development and discounted health benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Current NZ practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
• Competent in nursing in primary and/or secondary care
• Practice aligned with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi
• Postgraduate nursing qualifications desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions
• Willing to continually learn and improve; team player and reliable; good time management; excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a general practice setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical care.
• Contribute to community health improvement and equity.
