Job summary

Auckland City Hospital, part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, is seeking a Full-time General Medicine nurse for a permanent role across multiple General Medicine wards. You will contribute to patient care, work with subspecialties, and discuss opportunities at interview; NZ registration with the Nursing Council and APC are required; acute hospital

Qualifications

• Expertise in General Medicine and complex care.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of NZ with an APC.
• Acute hospital experience preferred, General Medicine ideal.
• Overseas acute experience considered for eligibility.

General Medicine is an acute adult health service at Auckland City Hospital comprised of 5 General Medicine wards. Each ward has a subspecialty of medicine which we will be happy to discuss in further detail during your interview.

Our Medicine wards provide structured orientation and on-going professional development, coaching and support.

• Excellent communication and people skills
• To be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with an Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Acute hospital experience, preferably in General Medicine
