Whānau Āwhina Plunket in Dunedin is seeking Registered Nurses to support tamariki and whānau across the Otago region. Roles are permanent, with both part-time and full-time hours available, and a focus on community-based care rather than hospital settings.

As a Plunket Nurse, you’ll assess growth, provide health promotion, and work autonomously while collaborating with a supportive team. Eligible candidates will have NZ registration and a current APC.

Formación

• Be a Registered Nurse.
• Hold or be able to obtain an Annual Practising Certificate.
• Hold a full clean NZ Drivers Licence.
• Commit to completing 12-month Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki Ora (we will cover the cost).
• Vaccinator certification would be an advantage, and we welcome applicants willing to complete training.

Responsabilidades

• Assess growth and development of tamariki and be a trusted clinical advisor for whānau.
• Foster relationships with whānau in the community with culturally appropriate care.
• Provide health promotion advice and referrals as needed.
• Deliver care across home visits and clinic settings in Otago, Dunedin region.
