Overview

Registered Nurse – 32 hours per week (Full Time). Application closes 28 Oct 2025. Location: Manawatu - Palmerston North.

Responsibilities
  • Working as part of our Enliven residential team in a peer-supported environment to deliver high-quality aged care for our Elders, across rest home, hospital, or dementia wing, supporting independence and access to day-to-day activities.
  • The clinical team supervises care by Healthcare Assistants and models best practice standards to maximise overall health and well-being.
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts from time to time to cover leave and absences; willingness and flexibility to assist with cover is appreciated.

About The Role

As part of our Enliven residential team in a peer-supported environment, you will deliver quality aged care for our Elders. They may live in our rest home, hospital or dementia wing; we support independence and enable access to day-to-day activities and the things they love to do.

The role is 32 hours per week with the ability to pick up additional shifts on a rotating roster (am, pm and nocte).

Our clinical team is responsible for supervising the provision of care by Healthcare Assistants and role modelling best practice standards of healthcare and support for our elders to maximise health and well-being.

There are opportunities to pick up additional shifts from time to time to cover for leave and absences; a willingness and flexibility to assist with cover is appreciated.

About You

As well as a passion for the wellbeing of our elders, you will be enthusiastic, patient and well organised with strong interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion and respect, and operate with a person-centred approach and high-quality standards. Being a great team player and working collaboratively is important.

Also You Will Have
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 2 years full-time experience as a RN, preferably in aged care.
  • Previous experience in provision of care to elders or working with complex general health conditions.
  • Experience working with a team of Healthcare Assistants to deliver daily cares.
  • Experience using electronic record-keeping systems with a basic level of computer literacy.
  • InterRAI would be an advantage – but we can train you.
