Job summary

Waterlea Lifecare in Blenheim, Marlborough region, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a permanent full-time position (32 hours per week or more). Shifts include AM, PM, nights and weekends on a 4-on/2-off roster.

You will lead a team of Caregivers, develop care plans, perform clinical assessments and liaise with residents, families and GPs, while supporting the Care Home Managers in a warm, family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with APC current and eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or overseas.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Empathetic, team-oriented and positive attitude.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Caregivers to provide high-quality care.
• Develop and monitor care plans.
• Carry out clinical assessments.
