Job summary

Tamahere Country Club Care Centre in Tamahere, North Island, New Zealand, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with an aged care background to support residents and families with compassionate, person-centred care. You will join a welcoming team and contribute to high-quality care every day.

Hold a current NZ Nursing Council APC, bring at least three years of aged care experience, and be flexible for all shifts including weekends.

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will:

Work closely with residents, families, care support staff, and the wider team to deliver personalised, holistic nursing care that honours each individual’s dignity and preferences.

Foster a nurturing environment built on respect, where meaningful connections are formed and residents feel empowered in their daily lives.

Oversee and coordinate clinical care, including assessments, medication management, care planning, and documentation, ensuring excellence and compassion in every detail.

Encourage residents to actively participate in their care decisions and routines, promoting independence, self-worth, and a high quality of life.

Contribute to a culture where care is not just provided but truly lived, making every day special for those who call Tamahere Country Club Care Centre home.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking empathetic and proactive Registered Nurses who:

Hold a current New Zealand Nursing Council APC.

Possess strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.

Are flexible, adaptable, and willing to continuously learn and embrace new technologies.

Are able and willing to work across all shifts, including weekends.

Have worked in aged care environment for a minimum of three years (relevant certifications such as InterRAI assessor, Syringe Driver are a plus)
