Clutha Views Lifecare & Village is a 72-bed Care Home and Hospital with an 8-unit Village, located in Balclutha, South Otago. About Our Role

• Clutha Views Lifecare & Village is located in the picturesque South Otago town of Balclutha
• Permanent full-time position (32 hours or more per week)
• AM, PM, Nights and weekend shifts

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for caring for others, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will have a positive, compassionate attitude and be great at working with people. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphere.

As a Registered Nurse, you will use your skills to:

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated Caregivers to provide a high level of quality care
• Develop and monitor care plans
• Carry out clinical assessments
• Form lasting relationships with residents, families and GP’s
• Support the Clinical Services and Care Home Managers

Your Skills And Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, in New Zealand or abroad
• Experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse, 3–5 years in New Zealand
• Hold a current APC
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• A genuine love for helping people with a friendly and positive attitude
• Have a good team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference
• A passion for continuous improvement with a solid understanding of health and safety procedures
