Job summary

Care on Call (NZ) Limited is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Christchurch-based clinical team. You will work across diverse settings, conducting clinical reviews and assessments, delivering nursing interventions, vaccinations, and training for the team.

Key duties include completing interRAI assessments, developing service plans for complex clients, and providing wound care. The role requires autonomy, strong assessment skills and proficient computer use, with a focus on person-centred

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• At least three years’ nursing experience in New Zealand.
• Experience in home-based, facility or DHB environments; community experience valued.

Duties

• Review long term and complex clients and develop service plans.
• Provide nursing interventions, including wound care and vaccinations.
• Respond to acute events.
• Support funding and case management.

Skills and experience

• Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• At least three years’ nursing experience in New Zealand, with well rounded nursing experience.
• Experience in home based, facility or DHB environments; community experience, particularly in home-based services or the disability sector, is valued.
• Confident working autonomously, with strong assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Competent computer skills.
