Job summary

Drake Medox New Zealand is seeking an RN Authorised Vaccinator to support a community immunisation project with a kaupapa Māori partner. You will deliver immunisations in whānau homes and provide culturally responsive care across Auckland.

You'll join a dedicated RN team, maintain accurate clinical records, and receive full orientation and ongoing support. Flexible ongoing shifts (4-5 days/week) in a meaningful community setting.

Qualifications

• Current APC registration in NZ.
• Authorised Vaccinator certification.
• COVID-19 Vaccination certification.
• RN with at least 1 year of NZ experience.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Full NZ working rights.
• Ability to pass Police Vetting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and autonomous working style.
• Experience in community nursing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver immunisations for children in home settings (0-24 months).
• Build trust with whānau and answer health questions.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing support activities.

Drake Medox is seeking an RN Authorised Vaccinator to support a meaningful community immunisation initiative with a kaupapa Māori organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of tamariki across our community.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver essential immunisation services directly to whānau in their homes. You’ll be part of a passionate, supportive team of RNs committed to providing high-quality, culturally responsive care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing immunisations for children aged 0-24 months in their home environment
• Building trust with whānau and answering questions about their tamariki's health and wellbeing
• Working collaboratively with a team of experienced RNs
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

You’ll receive a full orientation and ongoing support alongside an experienced RN.

What We're Looking For

• Current APC
• Authorised Vaccinator certification
• COVID-19 Vaccination certification
• At least 1 year of RN experience in New Zealand
• Current CPR certificate
• Full working rights in New Zealand
• Ability to pass a Police Vetting check
• Strong clinical assessment skills and confidence working autonomously
• Previous community nursing experience (highly desirable)
