Job summary

Te Puni Kōkiri seeks an Advisor based in New Plymouth to support the future prosperity of Māori communities in Taranaki. You will work with whānau, hapū, iwi, Māori organisations and government agencies to provide practical advice that informs decisions and drives sustainable growth.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll analyse data, identify opportunities, and contribute to initiatives that build capability and increase economic participation, while valuing innovation and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to identify trends and opportunities from data and insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building effective stakeholder relationships.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute new ideas.
• Understanding of te reo Māori, tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for Māori.
