Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager for the Wellington region, based in Lower Hutt. You will lead the regional finance and administration function, delivering timely, accurate reporting and proactive commercial advice to operations to drive profitability and project delivery.

The role requires Chartered Accountant status or equivalent, with proven leadership in a contracting or infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

CA status or similar qualification.
Strong commercial and financial leadership experience in contracting, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and translate insight into action.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with operational and senior leaders.
Collaborative, people-focused leadership aligned with company values.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day finance and administration for the Wellington region.
Provide proactive commercial advice to operational leaders to support performance and profitability.
Coordinate monthly reporting, forecasting, commentary, and financial analysis.
Deliver clear reporting on project and department performance, including variance and margin analysis.
Build relationships across the region through visible leadership, coaching, and open communication.
