Job summary

NZ Ministry of Education – Rotorua is seeking a Network Analyst to analyse data, network trends and achievement information to inform internal programmes. The role provides analytical support to staff and prepares written communications, working papers, reports and presentations.

The successful candidate will join the Operations and Insights team within Te Mahau | Education Services, based in Rotorua or Tauranga, offering a stable, full-time position with a strong emphasis on data extraction and

Qualifications

Data collection, collating and analysing information.
Ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities to influence decisions.
Strong written, numerical, statistical and IT skills.
Excellent time management and prioritisation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration across teams.
Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga.
Full, current driver licence.
Commitment to Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Responsibilities

Analyse data, network trends and achievement information to inform internal work programmes.
Provide information, guidance and analytical support to staff providing education services.
Prepare written communications, working papers, reports and presentations.
Support regional teams across the Bay of Plenty–Waiariki region.
