Job summary

Education Services Group in Aotearoa/NZ seeks a Curriculum Advisor to provide regional advice and support for developing high-quality teaching and learning programmes across early learning services, schools and kura. The role focuses on equity and improving student outcomes through strong partnerships with kaiako and leadership teams.

Travel across the region is required; a current driver's licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.
• Strong curriculum design expertise and knowledge in literacy and/or maths teaching (early learning) is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of education contexts, leadership, and curriculum and assessment theory.
• Experience with te ao Māori and understanding of Te Reo, tikanga and mātauranga Māori is critical for Curriculum Advisers.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to early learning services, schools and kura to develop high-quality teaching and learning programmes.
• Support regional teams in implementing government curriculum priorities to improve learning outcomes.
• Build collaborative networks within communities and share good practices.
