Job summary

SRG Global is seeking casual Refractory Bricklayers to join the Refractory Installation team during maintenance shutdowns at NZ Steel site in Glenbrook, South Auckland. Applicants should have a bricklaying trade qualification or demonstrated experience, preferably with refractory installation.

Familiarity with different refractory installation types and the ability to work in a team or autonomously are essential, along with a strong health and safety commitment and a good level of fitness.

Qualifications

Bricklaying trade qualification or proven experience, preferably in refractory installation.
Familiar with different refractory installation types.
Ability to work in a team or autonomously.
Willingness to meet high health and safety standards.
Good level of fitness.
Current driver’s license and own transport.
Flexible availability including overtime, weekends and overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Join the Refractory Installation team during maintenance shutdowns at NZ Steel site in Glenbrook, South Auckland.
Perform refractory bricklaying tasks as directed by site supervisor.
Commit to safety, quality, and timely completion of installation works.
