We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Tauranga Central, Bay of Plenty. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop a rewarding career in recruitment. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and placing high-calibre candidates with our diverse client base. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with both candidates and employers, whilst driving business growth through successful placements and client satisfaction.
Sourcing and identifying qualified candidates through various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach
Conducting thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability, skills, and cultural fit for specific roles
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates across multiple sectors and skill levels
Developing and nurturing relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs, company culture, and hiring requirements
Presenting candidates to clients and facilitating the interview and placement process
Negotiating terms and conditions between candidates and employers to reach mutually beneficial agreements
Managing the full recruitment cycle from job specification through to candidate placement and onboarding support
Meeting and exceeding recruitment targets and KPIs whilst maintaining high-quality placements
Providing professional advice and guidance to both candidates and clients throughout the recruitment journey
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in our recruitment management system
Proven experience working as a Sales Consultant ideally within a sales and or recruitment agency environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
Strong sales ability and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets and performance metrics
Proficiency in using recruitment software and CRM's
Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple placements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Knowledge of employment law, contract terms, and compliance requirements in New Zealand
A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Passion for helping people find their ideal career opportunities
Experience in specific industries or sectors is advantageous but not essential, as we value transferable recruitment skills
