A leading heavy vehicle manufacturing company in New Zealand is seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Receptionist-Administrator. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact, managing front-desk duties, answering calls, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. This part-time position is 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, offering flexibility to the right candidate.

Qualifications

Position Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and organized Part-Time Receptionist-Administrator to be the first point of contact for our company. Note: part-time constitutes 30 hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 3:30pm with room for flexibility for the successful candidate. This role combines front-desk duties with administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails.
  • Maintain the reception area and ensure it is presentable.
  • Maintain reception guest book and direct visitors to the correct personnel
  • Booking flights, accommodation and rental cars for travelling staff
  • Preparing the boardroom for meetings
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting rooms.
  • Support various departments with administrative needs.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, data entry administrator preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic office equipment.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
