Location: West Coast - Haast

Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Rotating roster, including weekends.

Employment Type: Fixed-Term, Waged (September 2025 - April 2026)

The Receptionist role offers variety, and is vital in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our property. This role requires a can-do attitude, great people skills and the ability to work within a diverse team.

Responsibilities
  • Meeting and greeting guests, and assisting with checking guests in and out.
  • Advising on and arranging reservations and assisting with managing reservations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responding to guest enquiries and giving information on local attractions.
  • Ensuring that reception and public areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as receiving and sorting mail.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Driver's Licence to drive guests with shuttle.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
