About this role

Dentons is seeking a talented and driven solicitor with 5+ years of PQE to join our Auckland-based Real Estate team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of New Zealand’s leading property law practitioners.

You will be part of a team that advises on complex and high-value property transactions, development projects and leasing arrangements. Our clients include global and domestic investors, developers, corporates, government entities and businesses with extensive real estate portfolios. You will also gain exposure to a wide range of matters including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, public works and developments.

About you

You are a proactive and commercially-minded solicitor with a passion for commercial real estate law and a commitment to excellence. You thrive in a team environment and are eager to contribute to a practice that values collaboration, innovation and outstanding client service.

You will likely have experience or interest in:

  • 5+ years’ PQE in real estate law
  • Experience in acquisitions, disposals and due diligence
  • Experience with commercial leasing transactions
  • Excellent drafting and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a drive to succeed
  • A collaborative mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to property development, public works and/or unit titles is advantageous but not essential
