Job summary

Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora – Southern invites applications for Medical Imaging Technologists to join the Radiology team at Dunedin Hospital. You will work across a modern service including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, delivering high-quality images in a busy 24/7 environment.

You will collaborate with Radiologists and clinicians to support timely diagnosis and patient care, while maintaining a safe, patient-centred approach and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Current MRTB registration and APC.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging.
• Clear communication with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Support timely diagnosis and treatment.
