Job summary

Light teaching of house officers is included. The successful candidate will join a collaborative radiology team, contribute to developing imaging services, and help establish a new imaging research centre at Gisborne

Qualifications

• Applicants are expected to have a general scope of radiologist skills including ultrasound, MRI and CT.
• Time is split with 70% clinical responsibilities and 30% non-clinical.
• Participation in the on call roster (at home call one in four nights).
• There are opportunities to teach local medical and surgical house officers and radiology registrars.

Responsibilities

• Interpret exams, triage and protocol imaging requests.
• Consult with referring clinicians and support radiology staff.
• Teach house officers and registrars within the Midlands Region.
