The Hits in Auckland is seeking a Content Assistant to join the Content team. This hands-on role covers music, imaging and programming, ensuring everything heard on air is polished, current and unmistakably The Hits.

You’ll schedule and review music logs, craft sharp station imaging, and provide day-to-day support to keep broadcast systems accurate and running smoothly. We value attention to detail, writing ability, and a genuine love of music.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prepare The Hits music logs.
• Review logs for accuracy, flow and scheduling issues before air.
• Manage music changes and rotations within scheduling systems.
• Oversee The Hits music research programme execution and data capture.
• Write engaging station imaging and copy for promotions.
• Provide day-to-day programming support and ensure system accuracy.
• Triage on-air issues and escalate to technical teams as needed.
• Identify improvements to content to better connect with audiences.
