Job summary

Fletcher Construction is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support commercial decision-making on the Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi project in Wellington. You will help manage budgets, forecasts, subcontract costs, reporting and contract administration from delivery through to completion.

You will work with project teams to monitor costs, perform forecasting, analyze cost data, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Around 5+ years' experience in quantity surveying or related roles.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost control.
• Experience with NZS3910, alliance contracts, target cost contracts or similar delivery models.
• Strong working knowledge of CCS Candy and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and expenditure across multiple work activities.
• Assist with monthly forecasting, cost-to-complete reporting, and earned value analysis.
• Review subcontractor, labour, plant, and material costs to support commercial performance.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, reconciliations, and financial reporting information.
• Support contract administration, procurement activities, and payment certification processes.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting within project management systems.
