Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato Hospital in Hamilton is seeking a suitably qualified Business Partner to join the Quality & Patient Safety team. The role focuses on improving quality and patient safety while partnering with Risk, Consumer Engagement and Clinical Effectiveness to drive improvements.

The successful candidate will report to the Director Quality & Patient Safety, have NZ healthcare registration, and be skilled in data reporting and risk management to support service

Qualifications

• Registration with a healthcare body in NZ.
• Experience in quality & patient safety.
• Ability to work across diverse quality activities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Quality Improvement including linking to Health Quality and Safety Commission.
• Provide reporting on service quality performance.
• Provide advice to service on risk management ensuring the register is current and mitigations are in place and monitored.
