Job summary

CHEP New Zealand is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the regional Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across the end-to-end supply chain. You will collaborate with service centres, logistics teams, suppliers and customers to embed quality culture and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong root-cause analysis skills and the ability to translate strategy into practical quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality, compliance and operational excellence within a complex environment.
• Experience improving quality systems and leading audits and investigations.
• Experience in manufacturing or asset-intensive operations.
• Tertiary qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define clear, practical quality standards and translate strategy into action.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analysis and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and improve Quality Management System and SOPs across the region.
• Drive audits, certifications and regulatory compliance activities with cross-functional teams.
• Provide data-driven insights to improve performance and support decision-making.
• Deliver training to teams responsible for quality processes.
