Placements24 seeks a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join their Queenstown-based laboratory team. You will perform routine and non-routine analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include instrument calibration, result analysis, detailed record-keeping, SOP and GLP adherence, and participation in quality audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific field.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as GC, HPLC, spectrophotometers, and titrators.
• Calibrate and standardize analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze test results, compare them against specifications, and report any deviations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including batch records and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Assist in method validation and development as needed.
• Ensure laboratory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary reagents and supplies.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join their team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This role is fundamental to ensuring that all chemical products manufactured meet stringent quality standards and specifications before they reach customers. You will perform a variety of analytical tests, interpret results, and maintain accurate records. The position requires a strong understanding of analytical chemistry techniques and a commitment to maintaining a high level of quality assurance. This is an on-site position that requires regular laboratory work and adherence to strict safety and operational protocols. You will be a key player in upholding our client's reputation for quality and reliability. Your work will directly contribute to product integrity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocols.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a laboratory team.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Queenstown, Eastern Cape .
