Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Compliance Manager based in Pokeno, Waikato. You will manage plant compliance, ensure CAPA activities are followed, and lead staff and QEs on compliance initiatives.

You will implement and maintain the quality system, ensure GMPs and regulatory standards are met, and serve as the primary audit contact. You will also oversee SQF, HACCP programs, and drive continuous improvement across key projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in scientific or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and tech-savvy with regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quality system.
• Ensure GMPs, regulations and customer/regulatory practices are followed.
• Serve as the plant contact for audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Act as the SQF Practitioner; develop and maintain HACCP program and validation activities.
• Provide continuous process improvement for key projects using Business Excellence tools.
