Job summary

JobAdder Operations Pty is seeking a Qualified Support Worker for Ranfurly, NZ. You will support clients in their own homes, providing safe, respectful, person-centered care, with sensitivity to culture and individual routines.

Training will be provided, and we aim to align shifts with your life, including weekends with extra pay. Role involves travel between clients, possibly using mobility aids, and requires a Level 3/4 Health and Wellbeing qualification, plus a willingness to learn and grow

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification or have equivalent, relevant experience.
• Spinal injury experience.
• Stoma Management experience.
• Experience with use of a full, standing and two-person hoist.
• Experience administering prescribed medication.
• Love working with people and helping them thrive.
• Be willing to learn, reflect, and adapt your approach to what matters for each person.
• Have experience in caregiving, disability support, aged care, community work, or other people‑facing roles.
• Committed to culturally safe, respectful support for people from all backgrounds.
• Own a smartphone.
• Have the right to work in New Zealand.
• Full/restricted driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Support tāngata with their individual care needs and daily living activities in their homes.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support, mindful of clients' culture, values, routines and boundaries.
• Assist with daily living tasks and mobility as required.
