The role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated registered teacher who will:

  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team and our centre philosophy.
  • Have solid knowledge of programme planning, self-review, and the ability to track, document, and share children’s learning journeys.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all children, using a proactive approach to provide a stimulating learning environment.
  • Demonstrate open communication skills that encourage, value, and reflect whānau contributions and feedback.
  • Uphold a high standard of respect and confidentiality to maintain and nurture strong, trusting relationships.
  • Be creative in utilising the environment to engage children’s interests and support their learning.
  • Build strong connections and communicate effectively with children, whānau, and fellow teachers.
  • Acknowledge and role model cultural practices, with a commitment to using te reo Māori in daily practice.
  • New Zealand resident who is eligible to work in New Zealand.
