Job summary

BestStart Waikanae is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher for a permanent, part-time role 20 hours per week across 3-5 days. Join our close-knit team and support tamariki with play-based, learner-centered experiences.

You will hold current NZ teacher registration, enable responsive learning, and uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi bicultural practice, Te Whāriki knowledge, and ECE regulations.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand teacher registration.
• Confidence in facilitating responsive, child-led learning experiences.
• Strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice.
• Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and effective teaching practice.
