Job summary

A1 Kids Childcare Centre in Tuakau is seeking a passionate qualified early childhood teacher to join our friendly team. Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply, and you will contribute to high-quality care and education for young children.

Qualifications

• Qualified ECE teacher with NZ registration or eligible for registration.
• Current first aid certificate preferred.
• Full New Zealand driver4 licence and willingness to drive centre van.

A1 Kids Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated qualified early childhood teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, be approachable and professional, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a positive team. You will be able to remain organised and work effectively in a busy environment while maintaining a warm, nurturing approach with children and families.

A genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning and developmental needs is essential. You will be committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and able to thrive.

This role also requires flexibility and a willingness to assist with the daily operation of the centre, including driving the centre van to pick up and drop off children when required. Therefore, a full New Zealand driver's licence and confidence in driving are essential.

Applicants must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification and be certificated or eligible for teacher registration. A current first aid certificate is preferred.
