Job summary

A childcare center in Auckland is seeking a passionate qualified ECE teacher to join their team. We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and registered ECE teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will support the holistic development of children aged 0–5 years, fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment. This role requires a commitment to promoting the principles and strands of Te Whāriki, embracing children’s learning dispositions, and engaging in positive relationships with whānau.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • NZ registered ECE teacher with a current practising certificate (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated understanding of Te Whāriki and early childhood pedagogy.
  • Knowledge and practice of bicultural and culturally responsive teaching approaches.
  • Experience in working with diverse learners, including Māori, Pacific, and children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to child safety and wellbeing, following licensing regulations and Ministry of Education guidelines.
