Job summary
Thinkproject GmbH in Auckland, NZ is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our QA team across Web UI, API and Mobile platforms. You will build and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Detox with TypeScript, and contribute to manual testing during releases.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on automation testing across Web, API, and Mobile.
- Strong manual testing skills for exploratory and regression testing.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern automation tools.
- Experience with REST API testing and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for Web UI, API, and Mobile.
- Web UI E2E automation using Playwright.
- API automation for REST endpoints.
- Mobile UI automation with Detox for iOS/Android.
- Load/performance testing with k6.
- Collaborate with developers to understand features and test coverage.
- Execute manual testing during release cycles.
- Participate in test design, review, and maintenance.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
