Job summary

Care on Call in Putaruru is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes with daily tasks, mobility and social activities. You will help with personal care, light household duties and driving clients to appointments or events.

We value initiative, reliability and a warm, community‑minded approach. Previous caregiving experience is preferred and a current, full driver’s licence is required to join our local team.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and caring attitude is required to ensure consistent support.
• Ability to adapt to different client needs and environments.
• Valid full driver’s licence is required to transport clients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support including personal cares (showering, dressing) and daily activities.
• Assist with social activities and mobility to help clients stay engaged.
• Support with household tasks, meal preparation and errands.
• Transport clients to appointments, meetings and community events.
