Job summary

Care on Call is seeking dedicated support workers to assist clients in Kawerau, Edgecumbe and Whakatane areas. You will provide companionship and help with daily activities in clients' homes, promoting independence and well-being.

We value initiative, reliability, and excellent communication as you support clients with personal care, mobility, home tasks and community engagement, while staying within NZ health and safety standards. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in community, residential, aged care or rehab settings.
• Located within Kawerau/Edgecumbe/Whakatane area and NZ work rights.
• Excellent communication, initiative, reliability, and caring attitude.
• Current, clean full driver’s licence.
• Health and wellbeing Level 2 required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing).
• Assist with passive exercises and stretches.
• Do housework and meal preparation.
• Drive clients to appointments, work meetings and social events.
• Support clients with daily activities and social participation.
