Massey University - Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa invites applications for a Lecturer in Public Health. This ongoing full-time role is based on Massey University Wellington or Manawatu campus, with teaching across undergraduate programmes and supervision of postgraduate research.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Public Health or Health Science, with experience in online and blended teaching, and a track record of teamwork and research activity. Salary range 86,113–109,901 NZD gross per year.

Qualifications

• PhD in Public Health or Health Science or related discipline.
• Teaching experience in internal, online, blended and distance teaching content design and delivery.
• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate public health and health science courses.
• Demonstrated excellent teamwork and self-management skills.
• Demonstrated research experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate undergraduate teaching in the Bachelor of Health Science programme using a variety of delivery modes including online technologies.
• Contribute to or lead supervision of postgraduate student research.
• Pursue an active research programme contributing to the School and College portfolio.
