Job summary

Hind Management, on behalf of Sudima Queenstown Five Mile, is seeking a Public Area Cleaner for full-time, permanent work at Sudima Queenstown Five Mile. The role, minimum 30 hours per week, offers an hourly rate of $26–$27.

Training will be provided; all roles require eligibility to work in NZ and the ability to pass police and reference checks. You will be part of the housekeeping team, ensuring timely, hygienic cleaning, presentation of guest rooms and public areas, and reporting any health

Qualifications

• Must be legally able to work in NZ.
• Able to pass police and reference checks.
• Willing to work across a 7-day roster.
• No prior hotel experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and hotel public areas ensuring hygienic standards.
• Report health and safety issues and maintenance needs.
• Support housekeeping team and assist with guest requests as needed.

Entry-level roles do not require any prior hotel experience as full training will be provided. You will need to have a positive attitude and be fit and active for the role and embrace our company values. Working as a valuable member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing timely, hygienic cleaning, servicing and presentation of guest rooms and hotel public areas, along with reporting any health and safety issues and maintenance or technical needs within your work area. Your days will be active but never too busy for a warm welcome to our guests, check-in with your manager or teammates or a shared lunch with your hotel colleagues to celebrate a birthday or a job well done. Flexible across 7 days roster.

All roles require entitlement to legally work in NZ & ability to pass a police and reference check.
