Job summary

APM New Zealand invites expressions of interest for Psychologists to join ACC services across assessment and treatment pathways. Roles include mental injury and neuropsychological assessments and evidence-based treatments such as CBT and EMDR.

Opportunities exist in Queenstown and Dunedin, with full-time or part-time options. You will work in a collaborative MDT environment, delivering high-quality assessments and reports while focusing on functional rehabilitation and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold NZPB accredited Master’s degree or higher in Psychology.
• NZ Psychologists Board registration with current APC.
• Strong formulation, documentation, and MDT collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide high quality, evidence-based talking therapies (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT, Schema therapy, ACT).
• Deliver high quality clinical assessments and reports; MDT collaboration.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
• Training in psychopathology and DSM-5-TR or ICD-10/11.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based talking therapies (CBT, ACT, EMDR, trauma-informed) and focus on functional rehab.
• Conduct high quality clinical assessments and reports, with ACC-aligned documentation.
• Engage in MDT collaboration and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
