Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora in Whangārei is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join the General Adult Community Mental Health and Addictions Service. This permanent, full-time role provides expert clinical psychology services within a culturally appropriate framework and MDT environment.

You will contribute to comprehensive care, participate in assessments and treatments for Axis I/II concerns, and support early intervention initiatives in the Northland region.

Qualifications

• Registered Psychologist with NZ Psychologists Board.
• Experience in early intervention and psychological testing.
• Experience with Axis I and Axis II disorders.
• Culturally appropriate ethical service provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard clinical psychology practice in community mental health.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with mental health and addiction needs.
