Job summary

Habit Health in Timaru is looking for an experienced psychologist to grow clinical skills in rehabilitation and support patient care with access to advanced tools.

Qualifications

• MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification is required.
• Registration with NZ Psychologists’ Board (APC) is required.
• Membership of a NZ psychology professional body is preferred.
• Approachability and people-centred disposition essential.
• Willingness and ability to travel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning.
• Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments.
• Be part of developing training and resources for services delivered.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Education

MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification

Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board / a current APC
