Job summary

CoLegal in Auckland is seeking a conveyancing specialist to work on complex residential and commercial matters. The role covers conveyancing, unit titles, leases, cross-lease to fee simple conversions, and related property financing.

You will collaborate with clients, developers and individuals, maintaining strong relationships and delivering quality work. The firm offers a supportive, respectful culture with flexible arrangements, including up to two work-from-home days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE in property matters including lending.
• Mortgagee enforcement experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and cultivate relationships.
• Team player with strong communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex residential and commercial conveyancing.
• Work on unit titles, leasing, cross-lease to fee simple conversions.
• Assist with building projects and property financing.
• Develop and maintain client relationships throughout matters.

About the client

This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit team in Auckland's city fringe, close to local amenities, in a role that will see you involved in complexresidential and commercial conveyancing transactions, unit title matters, commercial leasing arrangements, cross-lease to fee simple conversions, building projects, property financing (both for borrower and lender side) and mortgagee enforcement work. You'll be working with investor clients, developers, businesses and everyday individuals.

The firm has a positive working culture, where staff are treated with respect and there is strong team retention. There is the ability to have up to two WFH days and work with flex in this role if needed.

About you

• 4+ years PQE, with experience in a variety of property matters including property lending and ideally mortgagee enforcement work;
• An ability to build a rapport with clients and cultivate strong client relationships;
• A team player that is willing to help; and
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
