Job summary

WSP New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Property Consultant to join our South Island Regional Property team. You will work on acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects across Aotearoa, delivering quality outcomes for clients from Nelson, Blenheim, Greymouth, Dunedin or Invercargill.

Based in one of our South Island offices, you will collaborate with property owners and professionals, write reports, and apply legislation knowledge.

Qualifications

• A relevant property, legal, or related tertiary qualification.
• Preferably a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a related property or legal discipline.
• Knowledge of the Public Works Act, Local Government Act, Reserves Act and other legislation is an advantage.
• Experience and confidence in dealing with property owners and a variety of property professionals.
• Excellent attention to detail and able to write reports.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and think creatively to find solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the wider Regional Property team.

Property Consultant, Nelson / Blenheim / Greymouth / Dunedin / Invercargill

Based in one of our South Island Regional Offices, you will work across a range of projects across Aotearoa. You will have experience in valuation, property law or Central/Local Government property, and be committed to becoming a trusted advisor to our clients.

As a Property Consultant at WSP New Zealand Ltd, you will be involved with acquisition, disposal and/or legalisation projects, focusing on delivering quality outcomes for our clients.

You will have a willingness to learn, excellent attention to detail and desire to be part of the wider WSP Property team, which is there to collaborate with and support our consultants.

You'll have the option to work part-time or full-time hours and be based in one of our South Island Regional offices (Nelson, Blenheim, Greymouth, Dunedin, or Invercargill).

About you:
