Job summary

Assemble Group in Auckland is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to lead budgeting and forecasting for a diverse property portfolio. The role combines strong property accounting with loan administration and lending operations in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will own end-to-end accounting, contribute to the lending lifecycle, and support cash flow and reporting across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting.
• Experience in property accounting across commercial property or development is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of month-end and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting across a property portfolio.
• Manage funding across commercial development and construction projects.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, journals and balance sheet accounts.
• Oversee loan administration from drawdown through to repayment.
• Maintain loan records and up-to-date lending documentation.
